AsiaCMS x SolveSquad

One of the biggest challenges facing our generation in the current epoch in which we find ourselves is the issue of mental health; yet in cross-cultural contexts, it is even harder to address.

Thankfully, there have emerged various platforms and initiatives, brilliantly enhanced through the provision of virtual and online resources that have specifically addressed, especially in recent times, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

AsiaCMS, an international mission organisation, has recently launched a mental health response targeted towards young people focusing on wholistic wellbeing and the provision of ongoing support for building resilience in the lives of those within the wider community.

Collaborating with mental health professionals amongst key partner organisations across South Asia, major contextual issues in each country and region were identified and, as a response, three areas of mental health care tools have been provided as a way of further engagement.

The platforms provides a mental health awareness toolkit, loss and grief toolkit, and building resilience toolkit; all aimed at fostering a sense of collaboration and a support structure to aid those during quarantine and self-isolation.
