Project LEAP x SolveSquad
Being a part of a movement is something that not every average young person is able to tap into; but individual changemakers who are able to join together to maximise their impact as a collective community are the ones who are able to make lasting change.
Project LEAP (Literacy, Empowerment, Ability and Participation) is one such catalyst that is inspiring a movement of young people to enact change in their own unique way. Beginning its origins only five years ago, it has catapulted its development through their backing by UNESCO, now engaging directly with over 300 volunteers, 1400 students and additional partner NGOs, the project is levelling the playing field for many more youth to make a difference in their communities.
The key to the project’s growth is through volunteer upskilling. By combining the individual skills and creative edge of their volunteers, they are able to train and develop young people through the utilisation of their unique abilities and enabling them to build capacity.
As a growing platform for young people, Project LEAP is always looking for new ways to engage youth and enlarge their impact, including their new LEAP series, shining a spotlight on different ways that young people are taking the leap forward.
