The Cheer Challenge - Bringing Positive Change to Communities

One person in a community can often have a singular impact; but multiplied by many, can lead to a movement of change.

Introducing the Cheer Challenge.

Despite small beginnings, the idea of spreading happiness and positivity has transcended the test of time, and this community-led challenge is bringing this concept to reality.

Throughout the month of November, small businesses, individuals and champions of change in the community will be able to connect on a personal, down-to-earth level by sharing an encounter and an embrace in their own local neighbourhood!

Behind this movement is founder and social entrepreneur Linda Kim, in collaboration with the NSW Government, is bringing together small businesses, pioneers, and people with a purpose to spearhead the challenge across the state.

As Linda shares, “as a social collaboration platform, we help local businesses innovate for a sustainable future”. Through her business, IDEACLIP, this challenge is helping to mobilise community advocates to generate “cheer” by supporting businesses in unique and creative ways.

It is very easy to get involved - simply by registering yourself as an individual or on behalf of your organisation, capturing and sharing the event through a video, photograph or piece of artwork, and sharing on social media, using the hashtag, #nswcheerchallenge or #NSWSmallBizMonth.
