Being different in a country such as Australia can be both a blessing, and a curse. For many, the everyday reality of loss; whether it is deprivement of resources, opportunities, or even a community of support can be a devastating reality to face, let alone for a lifetime.

However, there exists a platform that can change the way people of colour view their reality.

Allies in Colour is an emerging network that is connecting multicultural communities and diverse individuals to a platform where they are accepted and are able to experience breakthrough in various sectors for their own professional advancement, collectively.

The platform focuses on three main sectors, including employment, politics and business; and is continuing to expand through new initiatives, such as their anti-racism register initiative, as well as their sister platform, COMPELL.

As a way to engage and build a community that is able to develop and thrive, Allies in Colour is breaking the mould by pioneering a new approach to the way individuals are able to catapult their career aspirations forward, especially in a changing society.
