Youth Helping Youth x SolveSquad

Understanding the challenges and opportunities of being a young person, especially in today’s day and age, can be quite daunting, given the myriad of obstacles that many youth have to overcome on a daily basis. Thankfully, there is a way for young people to help each other along the way.

Youth Helping Youth (YHY) is a platform that has been assisting young people to identify new paths forward in various aspects of professional development, run for youth, and by youth. As one of the fastest growing nonprofits run by young professionals, YHY has now served over 9 million to-date.

Working with other youth-run nonprofits and community initiatives, YHY offers a range of innovative and exciting platforms for young people to get involved in growing their potential and putting their talents and skills to good use; including through mentorship, network building and even helping to find gainful employment. Through organisational partnerships and connections with leading changemakers, YHY is the bridge connecting young people to initiatives that broaden their horizons.

Anjali Dhaliwal, the founder and director of YHY, speaking on the growth and expansion of the organisation on a global scale, especially in the last few years during the pandemic, mentioned that, as she describes, “YHY is truly a movement”.
