The Wellbeing Project x SolveSquad

A culture of care is often a hard thing to implement; especially given circumstances beyond our control. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, intangible factors, such as the growth or challenges facing a community, can be harder to manage or control, and a better, holistic approach is needed.

The Wellbeing Project is one such platform that is enabling such a caring community, especially for changemakers within wider society. For many social entrepreneurs, solving challenges issues within the fabric of a complex community context can prove to be a harder issue to solve. Coupled with mental health challenges, this can be a debilitating combination; but thankfully, the project is taking steps to better approach wellbeing on a personal and more long-term basis.

Co-created by Ashoka Changemakers, as well as pioneering institutes and partners, utilising model programs, research and evaluation, learning, convening and evaluation, as well as through storytelling and connecting, changemakers are better equipped to handle complex problems.

The Wellbeing Project also run opportunities for the community to be trained and coached through a step-by-step process for engaging with topics and themes in relation to exploring wellbeing through a series of webinars, which are available on the website.

Additionally, The Wellbeing Project will be launching their 2022 Summit, which will be taking place from June 1-3 in Bilbao-Biscay, Spain.

The Wellbeing Summit for Social Change is the first event bringing together over 1,500 social change, governmental and business leaders from around the world to advance individual and collective wellbeing for those working on the front lines of social change. The summit will be run in partnership with international initiatives, such as the Guggenheim Bilbao, the Ursula Hauser Collection, and the governments of Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

As the Wellbeing Project continues to come alongside changemakers in the community, they have been hard at work developing further resources and convening virtual summits alongside to better engage, assist and support others in the entrepreneurial ecosystem through challenging times.

If you consider yourself a changemaker, and would value a support system like the Wellbeing Project, please check out and be a part of a caring community.
