Tribes for GOOD x SolveSquad

Finding your tribe is often cited as a personal goal for many individuals seeking a deeper connection to a particular community or sphere of influence; but for TribesforGOOD, the organisation has taken this on as their personal mission.

TribesforGOOD is a social impact platform that began only two years before COVID-19 hit, buthas been pioneering the path for young changemakers and has now become a truly global initiative.

Providing a way for individuals to contribute back to their community, their initiatives alsoprovide a way for participants to identify and reconnect with their purpose. With a four-fold focus on gender equality, financial inclusion, healthcare improvement and environmental engagement,

TribesforGOOD challenges participants in their initiatives to take their ideas to new heights through practical and professional pathways. A recent youth participant in South Asia, Vardham, was given the task of providing a corporate social responsibility proposal for a local NGO; and used the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars for the organisation.

In addition, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, TribesforGOOD was able to pivot their Young Changemaker program for emerging young entrepreneurs to a hybrid model that utilised virtual volunteering and digital workshops to engage young people when many public schools were closed due to the looming lockdowns in local areas. Young students were encouraged to pursue their ideas in consultation with mentors, who advocated for practical engagement within the local communities.

A particular focus of TribesforGOOD digital and financial inclusion for all has enabled a secure future for low income communities. This has continued to be a significant opportunity for young people to be pioneers within their own families by utilising this experience out of the classroom.

For Adelina, embarking on her social impact journey through TribesforGOOD allowed her the opportunity to engage cross-culturally with a difference. “Volunteering for TribesforGood during my time in India enabled me an insight to the Indian Social Sector I, otherwise, would not have been able to receive. The organization quickly incorporated me into their team and, despite my young age, allowed me to feel like a valuable asset and granted me access to their broad network of contrasting and impressive individuals, changemakers and entrepreneurs.”

Though many find it difficult to find their tribe, you can too through TribesforGOOD!
