In our changing world, the ravaging effects of COVID-19 continue to take their toll on isolated individuals, students and families, as well as communities of lifelong cultural heritage. Yet the response from these very people in society has continued to astound many.

The Young Media Professionals Foundation (YMPF) is one such platform, which has continued to build and connect with young, talented, emerging leaders, despite the impact of the pandemic. Coming out of COVID-19, the organisation began in mid-2020 in order to bridge the gap between students and industry leaders through networking, provision of career resources, as well as professional mentorship opportunities for students.

With their continued focus on engaging and assisting young students and professionals, YMPF also provides free services for students to improve their resume building, connecting them with job opportunities and internships, and providing donations for COVID-19 relief in affected areas.

As the organisation grows, so does the talent. Ritika Agrawal, founder of YMPF, states that “people of the world need to unite to help a country in need”. With the continued impact of the coronavirus in countries such as India and the United States, the platform is continuing to help.
