South Asian Heritage Month - Launching our Collective Collaboration

For cultural celebrations, there’s always been a first. However, for digital conversations, there’s sometimes a space that must be created. As our platform has expanded, we are always coming back to our roots, and we are continuing to do so through this month forward.

We will be teaming up with several new and emerging collaborative partners in the leadup to South Asian Heritage Month. Over the next few weeks, our digital campaign will see social enterprises, nonprofit networks, philanthropic platforms, youth-led initiatives and digital agencies come together to carve out conversations surrounding COVID-19 challenges, and also opportunities, within this creative online space.

Our first hosted conversation will be taking place next week, with a facilitated session on how young professionals have been able to respond to the recent crisis in South Asia, connecting cultural heritage to new opportunities within the community and the country at-large.

Being backed by organisations such as the British Council and Manchester Museum from Home, along with 150 other events in the official lineup, this collaboration will continue to move forward through both online and offline conversations for months to come.
