For many young people, cultural identity and misrepresentation go hand-in-hand; and although unfortunate, there are not many initiatives responding to this challenge, until MYAN.

MYAN is a national advocacy non-profit platform that provides advice to the government and capacity-building to those who work with young people . Since 2007, we have been working in partnership with various individuals, corporate and government entities to promote the rights and interests of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

MYAN facilitates a variety of activities, including fostering connections between young people, academics, policy makers and practitioners, provide policy expertise, provide youth leadership opportunities and develop capacity building resources.

One of the biggest opportunities for young people to get involved is through their FUSE program, which is an all-expenses paid opportunity for young people interested in developing leadership skills and engagement within their community, open to those from 18-25.
